Authentic, very well made reproduction by Meyda Tiffany of Yorkville, NY. Central design features the Red Parker Poppy flower found throughout the Mojave Desert Triangle of California, Nevada and Arizona. Sometime in the mid-1920's an art glass craftsman or woman created the design as an art glass window, but the design proved popular and soon spread to other mediums. Meyda rediscovered the design in 2005 and created a table lamp with a shade of 100% art glass, both copper foiled and hand leaded. Principal shade color is Cobblestone Beige, Poppy color is Desert Red with Moss Green stem and leaf color. There are also Amber square trim tones. The base is hand-cast metal with a Poppy symbol filigree and a very authentic Oak-Mahogany Bronze finish. Well sized at 23.5" tall, 14" square shade, 2 x 60-watts on nice pullchain system. Versatile: for end tables, nightstands, desks and accent tables. My neighbor ordered one for her computer desk.
